Our sea, our future

Our Sea, Our Future is an inspiring evening of film, art and conversation exploring the health of our seas and the future of our coastline. Featuring exclusive sneak previews of Jeanie Finlay’s new film, the event brings together filmmaker Jeanie Finlay, John Reeve from Surfers against sewage, Joe Redfern, founder of the Whitby Lobster Hatchery, and artist Glynis Johnson, whose striking sculpture made from reclaimed fishing gear was inspired by the Teesside crab and lobster die-off. Join us for a thought-provoking evening of stories, science, creativity and community as we explore the challenges facing our marine environment and the hope for a healthier future.
