Ad-hoc event support
Love being a part of your community but cant commit to regular volunteering? Our Ad-hoc event roles are perfect for you! Join the Nest's friendly volunteer team and support local events as and when you are available- whether that is putting up posters, setting up stalls, chatting with the public, helping to run activities and packing down at the end of the event.
It is flexible, rewarding, and a great way to meet people, build confidence, and make a real difference in your community.
No experience is needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in!

Remote communications volunteer
Prefer to support from behind the scenes? We are looking for an organised, friendly volunteer to help with remote communications. This flexible role involves things like chasing emails, booking venues, coordinating with partners and helping to keep our projects running smoothly.
You can contribute from home, at times that suit you, while playing a vital role in supporting community environmental work. It is a great way to build admin and communication skills, boost your confidence and be a part of a positive, purpose-driven team.

Social media and marketing volunteer
Are you creative, strategic and up to date with the latest in social media marketing?
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic volunteer to help share The Nest's work with a wider audience. From creating posts and promoting events to helping to shape campaigns and grow our online presence, you'll play a key role in connecting people to our community environmental projects.
This creative and flexible role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys creating engaging content, understands what performs well across platforms and wants to apply their skills to meaningful community environmental work.
